In general, you can browse our web site without giving us any personal information. We use several products to analyse traffic to this web site in order to understand our visitors' needs and to continually improve our site for them. We collect only anonymous, aggregate statistics. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific IP address. However, there are additional activities on our site that require you to provide us with personal information. For example, to buy products, register for seminars or sign up for the mailing list to receive updates on seminars and other information relevant to functional neurology. As part of these processes, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you've asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information relevant to seminars you have registered for or products you have purchased; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you're happy and satisfied.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our emails. For more information, please see MailChimp's privacy notice. A hard copy backup of mailing list data will be held on two strongly passworded computers, which are accessed only by Neuroseminars staff. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Richard Ingall (info@neuroseminars.co.uk).

Your personal data will only be used for the purpose you provided it for. For example, if you purchased products, we will use your address to ship the products to you and your email address to communicate to you about your order. If you registered for a seminar, we will use your email address to provide you with information about that seminar as well as the course notes. Purchase data will be held securely on two strongly passworded computers, which are accessed only by Neuroseminars staff. For your security, we use PayPal for on-line ordering. We do not hold, or have access to any credit/debit card information. Please refer to PayPal's own privacy policy for information on how PayPal processes your data.
